Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,719 per week

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' function through formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop and implement goal‑specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Submit written treatment regimes as part of the treatment plan authorized by the physician and update the plan of care as necessary.
• Create a treatment schedule that is frequency and duration specific, coordinated with patients and clinical support staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about pathology, alternatives, prognosis, and treatment rationales through various interventions.

Requirements

• Outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Skills checklist relevant to the physical therapy specialty, current within the last year, required.

Pay

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (8‑hour day shifts).
