The role requires performing professional duties aligned with clinical standards and organization values, ensuring patient and employee safety, and providing education to patients, families, and colleagues. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; located in or willing to travel to Saint Joseph, Missouri. Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay. Accurately document medical records, including goal setting, functional assessments, medical necessity letters, and charge entries in compliance with all applicable guidelines and policies. Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and insurance approvals as necessary. Participate in student training programs by creating a positive learning environment and providing appropriate supervision and evaluations. Maintain professional licensure and meet all state-mandated continuing education requirements. Understand and participate in the organizations performance improvement initiatives, contributing feedback to enhance service quality. Demonstrate safety awareness, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and slip/trip/fall prevention. Follow clinic guidelines regarding personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Apply clinical reasoning and skills to meet the needs of the targeted patient population.
