About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel contract in Monterey, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting. Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 09/08/2026 Shift: 5x8 Days
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a variety of settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Requirements
- 1 Year of Experience
- Valid CA License
- BLS Certification
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice in the state of California.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
