Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $2,767 per week
About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Physical Therapist for an assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Springfield, Missouri. This is a travel position starting 11/09/2026 for 8 weeks, 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with passed NPTE
- Graduated from an accredited school
- Minimum one year's experience
- Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the application process for current state licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Other requirements as determined by client facility
Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential
- Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
- Develop plan of care for each physical therapy patient
- Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy intervention goals
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
