Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $2,675 per week

About the role

Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) located in the Canyons region. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to inpatient populations, including evaluation, treatment planning, patient education, and documentation. The position emphasizes collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to department standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent physical therapy services, including subjective and objective evaluations based on diagnosis, past medical history, and physician referrals.
• Develops individualized plans of care with appropriate goals, maintains department productivity standards, and ensures thorough, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and staff to facilitate smooth operations and patient-centered care.
• Supervises all services provided by physical therapy assistants, aides, office staff, and students.
• Participates in continuing education opportunities and promotes staff development.
• Assists in quality improvement initiatives, equipment safety, and outcome measurement.
• May support departmental operations including scheduling, mentoring, and program development.

Requirements

• Current state license for physical therapy
• At least one year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 8-hour shift with 40 hours per week
• Proficiency in subjective and objective evaluation, patient education, and clinical outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
• Clinical background in healthcare settings

Schedule

The position is scheduled for 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed with advanced notice.
