Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $2,871 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Springfield, Missouri. This is an 8‑week travel assignment in an acute care setting, working 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The therapist will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for a variety of patient populations. Job ID #1529194.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations and state requirements
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred); new graduates encouraged to apply
• Current BLS certification
• State‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, for an 8‑week duration.
