About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The facility has 50 beds and serves patients with stroke, brain injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions. The role requires 1+ years of experience and offers a day shift schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with a patient ratio of 1:5. Weekend work is available upon request. The facility uses the UDS EHR system and is CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke, Brain Injury, and Amputation Specialty Programs. It is also accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting.
  • Manage a caseload with a patient ratio of 1:5, including conditions such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, and orthopedic issues.
  • Work a day shift schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), 5 days per week, with optional weekend shifts.
  • Document patient care using the UDS EHR system.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Active license (if applicable).
  • AHA certifications required.
  • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
  • Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment.
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.
  • Light blue scrub color required.

Schedule
