The role requires adapting treatment plans to meet individual patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote optimal recovery outcomes. Job Details Position Title: Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Shift Schedule: Rotating shift, (4) 10-hour days, including Saturdays and Sundays; hours are flexible on the 3rd and 4th days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy; Illinois Physical Therapist License; BLS (AHA); at least 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute setting; proficiency with Microsoft software; excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Setting: Inpatient hospital coverage including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical units; may include Intensive Care Units (ICUs); position involves providing patient care appropriate to the population served, with a focus on establishing therapy goals, developing treatment plans, and accurately documenting patient progress. Additional Information: Candidates must have submitted the last four digits of their SSN and initiated the Illinois licensure process if applicable. They must produce a negative drug screen for all panels as OSF is a drug-free campus.
