The role includes evaluating patient progress, developing discharge plans, and ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and health care standards to deliver effective patient care. Job Details Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or higher in Physical Therapy (PT); licensure by the PT Board of the State of California; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CA Physical Therapist License; 0 years of experience required. Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and adherence to hospital licensing, accreditation standards, and the Physical Therapy Practice Act. Performs evaluation and treatment plan implementation based on age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs. Provides effective therapy treatments, including modalities and protocols appropriate to patient care needs. Ensures thorough, timely, professional, and consistent patient care documentation through healthcare electronic documentation systems. Utilizes all resources to assist with patient flow, including printing forms and scheduling patients. Provides education and mentoring for student interns, participates in departmental programs, and facilitates interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient outcomes. Maintains equipment supplies and treatment areas. Administers patient treatments as prescribed and directs support staff accordingly. Provides safe and comprehensive discharge planning. Demonstrates competency in utilizing all reports to manage caseload proactively.
