About the role

Physical Therapist (Inpatient) position in Silver City, New Mexico. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and deliver physical therapy services within the scope of practice outlined by the New Mexico State Board of Physical Therapy, American Physical Therapy Association standards, and facility policies. The role involves providing outpatient and inpatient services to a diverse patient population with a focus on rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with state and professional standards
• Provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• New Mexico Physical Therapist license (must obtain permanent license within 6 months if holding a temporary or provisional license)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to pass the Rehabilitation Department Aquatic Competency test within 90 days if aquatic therapy is part of the job

Qualifications

Preferred: One (1) year of experience in a related setting.
