Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health - $2,726 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a position in Presque Isle, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adult patients with mobility or post-surgical needs in their homes
• Lead, work with a scheduler, and receive phone support from a department leader
• Provide 1-2 weeks of department-specific orientation
• Work 5 days a week, 8 hours each day, with the option for four 10-hour shifts
• Occasionally cover weekends (1 weekend every 4-6 weeks)
• Coverage of 50% of holidays during the contract

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent PT experience; home health experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy required
• Active ME state license or compact license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance required
• Experience with adult and post-surgical populations is essential

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the option for four 10-hour shifts
