Travel Physical Therapist Home Health - $1,515 per week

Job Summary

A Physical Therapy Assistant position is available for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Hilo, Hawaii.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, typically 36 hours per week, with the possibility of including one weekend day.

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the SNF/ICF setting preferred
• Less than two (2) years of experience is acceptable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation services within SNF/ICF settings
• Familiarity with electronic medical records such as Net Health Rehab
• Ability to supervise therapy assistants

About the Role

The role involves providing rehabilitation services, performing evaluations, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance residents' function and quality of life. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and supervisory responsibilities when applicable are required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
