Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans
  • Implement PT interventions using appropriate, evidence-based techniques; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Serve as a co-leader in interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries within established deadlines
  • Supervise assigned therapy assistants and ensure safe, compliant delegation of tasks
  • Communicate patient status, progress, and discharge needs with patients, families, and the care team

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Active Physical Therapy licensure in California (or applicable state(s) of practice); eligibility as required
  • CPR certification (BLS or equivalent) required
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in the field
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive; age 21+
  • Vaccination requirements per organizational policy; exemptions may apply

  • Weekly pay range: $2,009–$2,151 per week
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:00)
  • Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment)
