Travel Physical Therapist General Job

About the role

12-week temporary assignment beginning 08/05/2026 in a home-based care setting as part of a Local Contract Allied Health program in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address mobility, strength, balance, gait, and activities of daily living
• Implement skilled interventions, monitor patient progress, and adjust the plan of care to achieve goals
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately; communicate findings to the care team and family/caregivers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, fall prevention, and activity modification to support independent functioning

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice physical therapy in the United States
• Ability to work in a home health setting and travel to patient homes
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Commitment to patient safety, professional standards, and compliance with licensure requirements
• Willingness to travel within the service area and maintain reliable scheduling for home visits

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,258 to $2,373 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Schedule

Shift: 8:30am–5:00pm for the duration of the 12-week contract.
