Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy to address impairments and functional limitations
- Perform comprehensive PT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Consider patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs in care planning
- Monitor patient progress, document findings, and adjust treatment as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall care goals
Requirements
- Active Montana Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
- Degree from a PT program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Amiable personality with sound judgment and empathetic patient care
- Willingness to travel to SNF settings with weekend coverage in acute/inpatient care; rotating shift
