Travel Physical Therapist General Job

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct segments of physical therapy treatment programs aimed at restoring and improving physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department goals
• Implement therapeutic activities and modalities to support patient recovery and functional independence
• Serve as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, coordinating care with other clinicians and team members
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans to meet clinical objectives and patient needs
• Educate patients and families on exercise, safety, and discharge planning; participate in rounds and care coordination as part of the care team

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Availability to work evenings on a 4x10-hour schedule (40 hours per week)
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in interdisciplinary care
• Willingness and ability to participate in a travel assignment at the specified location
• Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
