Travel Physical Therapist

Seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel assignment in Lafayette, IN. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience, with 1 year preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. Key duties include supervising PTAs and support staff, billing according to facility protocols, ensuring compliance with state PT board regulations, collaborating with medical personnel, understanding adaptive equipment, modifying care plans as needed, utilizing medical computer systems, and maintaining accurate documentation. Qualifications include state-specific license, BLS certification, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
