Role Overview: The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing personalized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. They will oversee support staff, ensure compliance with state and facility regulations, and collaborate with medical personnel to deliver effective treatment. Key Responsibilities Supervise PTAs and support staffBill and document accurately within facility guidelinesUnderstand and adhere to state-specific PT regulationsCoordinate with medical team to develop and modify care plansEvaluate patients and utilize adaptive equipment as neededUse medical systems for documentation and billing Qualifications & Skills Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouragedCurrent state licensure and BLS certificationStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminologyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periodsAdditional certifications may be required prior to assignment
