About the role
The organization seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves assisting physical therapists in delivering treatment plans, collecting relevant data, and ensuring quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement components of patient care
- Obtain data related to the treatments provided
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to modify care as necessary
- Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life
Requirements
- PTA license
- 1 year of PTA experience
- Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Missouri or compact state license
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Ability to submit at the posted rate
- Skills checklist within 1 year and 0-1 references at the time of submission
- Certification must be active at the time of start
Preferred Qualifications
- LTC or SNF experience
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
