Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - SNF - $1,500 per week

About the Role

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Ranger, Texas. This position involves supporting physical therapists in delivering patient care through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. The role requires working under supervision to assess patient progress and report outcomes, contributing to the overall rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of physical therapists.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
• Proactively manage caseloads using available referrals and treatment opportunities.
• Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership.

Requirements

• 2 years of PTA experience.
• Texas or Compact license.

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Guaranteed hours policy applies when the traveler remains onsite and available to work, even if patient volume is insufficient to fulfill scheduled hours.

Additional Information

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
