Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,582 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Thomasville, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness
- Help patients move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Perform tasks such as assisting with exercises, monitoring patient progress, and documenting treatment sessions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active State License to start the assignment
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in Physical Therapy
- A current active state license is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- One weekend rotation per month
