Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,582 per week
About the role
You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in performing exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
- Help patients learn proper body mechanics and techniques to prevent further injury.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to Start the Assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in using the EMR system (Nethealth/PCC).
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
