Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,582 per week

About the role

You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in performing exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Help patients learn proper body mechanics and techniques to prevent further injury.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License to Start the Assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in using the EMR system (Nethealth/PCC).
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
