About the role
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with Jackson Therapy Partners! You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 8–9 patients per day
- Maintain an evaluation to follow-up ratio of approximately 1:8
- Complete documentation within 24 hours
- Work at the primary location in Louisville, with floating required to another location 16 miles north
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active State License is required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Schedule options include 5x8 or 4x10
- Monday–Thursday, 9–10 hour days
- No weekends required
