Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,582 per week
About the role
Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners! You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Junction City offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in northeastern Kansas. Milford State Park and Milford Lake are about 10 miles away and provide boating, fishing, and hiking near one of the largest lakes in Kansas. Fort Riley sits adjacent to the city and brings a steady community presence, while downtown Manhattan is about 20 miles east with dining, shopping, and Kansas State University attractions. Interstate 70 runs directly through the area, and travelers can reach Topeka in about 1 hour or Kansas City in about 2 hours for additional entertainment and airport access.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness
- Help patients move better, feel better, and stay active
- Provide care under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
