About the role
Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a healthcare setting specializing in skilled nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Providing supervised physical therapy services to support patient rehabilitation goals.
- Implementing treatment plans prescribed by physicians and adjusted after evaluations by a registered Physical Therapist.
- Assisting with active and passive exercises, operating specialized equipment, and observing patient responses.
- Educating patients and caregivers on treatment procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Licensed PTA in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in a home health care setting.
