Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,535 per week

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is located in a healthcare facility specializing in skilled nursing care. The role involves providing physical therapy services under supervision to support patient rehabilitation goals. This position emphasizes patient treatment, education, and documentation to enhance recovery and maintain maximum function.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as prescribed by a physician and following initial and periodic evaluations by a registered Physical Therapist
• Implement treatment plans
• Assist with active and passive exercises
• Operate specialized equipment
• Observe and report patient responses
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Ensure timely documentation

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license
• Graduate of an accredited school as a Physical Therapy Assistant

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a PTA in a home health care setting is preferred

Schedule

Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Duration: 16 weeks. Start Date: 09/28/2026.
