Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,484 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Assist patients in transferring between bed, wheelchair, and other equipment.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the supervising therapist and other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARCS.
- Skilled nursing facility experience required.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a BLS certification.
- Black scrubs are required to be worn during the assignment.
- The therapist must be present in the building during scheduled hours.
- A productivity requirement of 92% is expected.

- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to document patient progress accurately.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
