Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,484 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to promote physical recovery and improve functional abilities.
- Assist in patient assessments and treatment planning, documenting progress and communicating with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments, following established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Experience working in a SNF setting is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift, with approximately 9 to 10 patients per day, productivity expectation of 85% or higher.
