Employment Type: Travel | Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour day shifts, days)
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited PTA program.
- Completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- NM PTA licensure/certification.
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended.
Pay
Weekly pay: $1,414.74 – $1,458.49 (based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
