Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,437 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position for a travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Murphy, Texas, with a schedule of 5 days, 8 hours per day, and 12-hour flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in the use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Apply various modalities for patient treatment and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families on body mechanics.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding therapy administered.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects to improve patient care quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
