Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,401 per week

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• AL PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Schedule

• Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/10/2026

Pay

Pay: $1,380.14 - $1,422.82 / week. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
