Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- AL PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Jackson, Alabama. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is based at an on-site facility.
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
The pay rate is $1,379.46 - $1,422.12 per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401K, and relocation assistance. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
