About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years experience in ARU and inpatient settings for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Idaho. The role is based in a hospital Rehabilitation Services department with a focus on Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Inpatient care. The patient population is mainly geriatric and adult.

Schedule

• Day shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 5x8 hours per week
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend hours required on an every-other-weekend basis
• No call requirements
• Start date: July 13, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment within ARU and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• May float between Inpatient and ARU units based on need
• Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• ARU and inpatient experience required
• BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• PT license in Idaho required if applicable
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
