Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,582 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Apple Valley, California. This is a 13-week contract position in an acute care setting, addressing a wide variety of diagnoses.

Schedule

• Day shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Assist patients with exercises and therapies to improve mobility and physical functioning
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care physical therapy
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid CA state license to practice physical therapy required prior to start
• Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses including but not limited to: Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Post-Stroke Rehabilitation, and Geriatric care
