Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Burn Unit - $2,240 per week

About the role

Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately at an acute care hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
