Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Burn Unit - $2,078 per week

About the role

Anders Group is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 5, 2026 at LCMC Health University Medical Center New Orleans. The position is 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Louisiana
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient assessment tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
