Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation
• Establishing plans of care and treatment programs
• Providing interventions
• Providing patient and family education
• Documenting interventions
• Billing appropriately
• Supporting lead clinicians in competency development and implementation
• Participating in the orientation of new staff members
• Serving as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercising independent judgement on moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision

Requirements

• New Jersey license to practice Physical Therapy
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• 0‑4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (strongly preferred)

Skills

• Experience in acute care in a large academic medical setting (preferred)
• Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with the facility
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for acute care
• Preferred home health experience
• Valid PT license (already required)
• Epic experience preferred
