About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment in Abbeville, South Carolina, starting 08/24/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Estimated gross weekly pay is $2,716.00.

First-time travelers are accepted. Block scheduling is not available, and a 50-mile radius rule applies—local candidates will not be considered. All requested time off must be submitted with the application, and requests should be minimal, preferably none in the first two weeks or for full calendar weeks. Expect to work some holidays.

Charting system: EPIC. May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Provide physical therapy services in inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
• Manage a broad range of patient diagnoses and conditions, including but not limited to:
• Acute care
• Body mechanics and spinal conditions (e.g., cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/spinal surgery)
• Post-operative rehabilitation (e.g., shoulder repair, total hip/knee replacement)
• Neurological conditions (e.g., cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury)
• Develop and implement home exercise programs
• Provide patient and family education

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active South Carolina state licensure (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification
• 2 supervisory references required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
