Travel Physical Therapist - $2,640 per week

About the role
This position exists to provide excellent physical therapy services. The purpose of this role is to evaluate patients, establish and implement a plan of care based upon evaluation findings, and provide health and wellness education.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates physical and functional status of patients and establishes & implements an appropriate plan of care within the scope of Physical Therapy Practice.
- Documents initial evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment, education, and discharge summaries in compliance with BH Rehab policies.
- Educates patients, families, and caregivers in strategies to manage pain, improve safety and function, and regarding individualized plan of care.
- Identifies issues regarding patient safety and follows through with processes to ensure safety for all involved.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- Montana Physical Therapist Licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Completion of two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education.
- Two years of physical therapy experience preferred.
Schedule
- Days only, 5x8s, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
