Travel Physical Therapist - $2,500 per week

About the role
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler will work 4 days in the outpatient clinic and 1 day a week in acute care. The facility uses EPIC as its EMR system.
- 16 hours of NBO (Non-Billable Orientation)
- OT/Holiday: 1.5x multiplier on holidays
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2-hour minimum
- On Call: $9/hour
- Charge/Precept: $6/hour
- Billable OT: 36–40 hours/week (OT billable after 40); 48 hours/week (OT billable after 48)
- Orientation: Weekly, every Monday
- Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Local candidates are not allowable; all candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility
From the department: "If they are willing to work an acute weekend 1–2 while here, we would take that as well. On call on Saturday 0700–1200 and Sunday 0700–1100. Only see ortho neuro and safety discharge patients; this is not a deal breaker for us, but some travelers have wanted to work a couple weekends, and this takes the burden off the perm team."
Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous Physical Therapist (PT) experience [required]
- At least 1 completed travel contract [preferred]
- Outpatient experience [required]; Inpatient experience [preferred]
- EPIC experience [required]
- 24 months of current Physical Therapist / PT experience [required]
- Skills Checklist specific to Physical Therapist / PT [required]
- Driver’s License [required]
- AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) BLS certification [required]
- State license in Iowa [required]
Qualifications
- Professional reference (charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months) [preferred]

Pay
Rate: $85/hour. Pay package is based on 9-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
