About the role
This is a 12-week travel assignment in Macon, Georgia, starting 08/31/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift. Estimated gross weekly pay is $2,496.40.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday schedule with 1 weekend per month required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling type
- 8 orientation hours required
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all requested time off must be finalized at time of submission
- Holiday work expectations:
- If 1-2 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them
- If 3 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
Responsibilities
- Float required within facility scope of practice (acute care) and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
- Provide physical therapy services to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform assessments, evaluations, and reassessments
- Develop and manage plans of care, including long-term and short-term goals
- Handle discharge planning
- Charting in Epic system
- Previous charge experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
- BLS certification
- State license in hand (Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission)
