About the role

This is a 13-week contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist. The role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, providing high-quality therapy services, and educating patients, families, colleagues, and students. The therapist will maintain compliance with organizational guidelines and uphold professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, and accurately in a timely manner.
• Ensure care is delivered according to valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and feedback.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to ethical practices and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.
• Previous experience with the agency is highly desired.
• Previous assignment with Select Medical is a plus.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
