Travel Physical Therapist - $1,662 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Bronx, New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting. Start date is September 21, 2026; shifts are 5 days on, 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting
• Valid New York State PT license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
