About the role
We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges.
Requirements
- Must have TN State License to apply
- 2 years hospital inpatient experience required
- Sterile compounding experience preferred
- Antimicrobial stewardship and medication reconciliation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, allergies, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness
- Provide clinical recommendations regarding medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and adjustments
- Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile medication compounding as applicable
- Ensure compliance with controlled-substance regulations, medication storage requirements, and hospital pharmacy policies
- Rotating day and evening schedule
- Every other weekend required

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
