About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication therapy management services
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patients' responses to medications and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with pharmaceutical advancements
Requirements
- Current license to practice pharmacy in Kentucky
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Passing score on the North American Pharmacy Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
