Description
Outpatient imaging setting within a health center launching a new PET-CT department
4x9 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Modalities include PET/CT imaging within a Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging setting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Active state license required if applicable
- BLS, ARRT(N), ARRT(CT), and NMTCB certifications required
- Dual proficiency in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography imaging
About the Role
Perform PET/CT imaging, interpret physician orders, and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Help establish protocols and workflows as part of a newly launched PET-CT department
Responsible for training new technologists and patient coordinators
Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals
Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
