Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Registered - $2,325 per week

Respiratory Therapist Pediatric (RT PEDS) Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients within the healthcare facility. The role includes evaluating patient needs, administering respiratory treatments, operating ventilatory equipment, and supporting patient education and discharge processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs intensive respiratory care and patient transport as prescribed, including operating ventilatory devices, oxygen and aerosol therapies, and nebulizers.
• Conducts patient assessments, recommends treatment plans, and explains procedures to patients.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, chest x-ray review, 12-Lead EKG, and pulmonary function studies.
• Assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placements, and tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal.
• Performs arterial puncture, administers respiratory treatments, and monitors ventilation efficiency.
• Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment, performs routine equipment self-tests, and assists in preventative maintenance.
• Records all treatments, patient responses, and communicates effectively with physicians regarding therapy efficacy.
• Maintains accurate documentation and respiratory care records, including billing information.
• Performs CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Completes all assigned duties and supports the clinical team as needed.
• Submission of credentials and licensing documentation is required for consideration.

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) credential
• No minimum years of experience required

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. 13-week assignment starting 11/02/2026.
