Requirements

• Valid Virginia license
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• 3+ years pediatric experience
• Willing to work with vented patients in ED, NICU, PICU, and pediatric general care
• Overall minimum of 2 years pediatric-specific experience
• 3 years NICU or PICU experience

Certifications

• RRT
• PALS
• NRP
• BLS

Licensing

Virginia license in hand is mandatory.

Schedule

• Evenings, 12-hour rotating shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• Includes every other weekend and holidays
• 48 hours per two-week period; days/nights, including Sunday to Sunday

Contract details

• Start date: 11/23/2026 (also noted as 10/19/2026)
• End date: 01/17/2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Credentials must be submitted 1.5 weeks prior to start date
• MSP (Medical Service Program) required

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
