About the role

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) responsible for delivering specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility. The role involves managing critical care patients, utilizing advanced respiratory techniques, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Manage critical care patients using advanced respiratory techniques
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Handle a heavy workload in a critical care setting
• Float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Current critical care experience within the last 12 months
• Wisconsin license in hand prior to start date
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification optional
• 2 years of experience preferred
• License verification, Ascension profile, and 2 professional references
• Skills checklist and completion of required testing

Schedule

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
