The position provides respiratory care across adult, geriatric, neonatal, pediatric, and hospice patient populations. Candidates must be prepared for a rapid start and possess relevant neonatal and pediatric experience. Job Details Schedule: Day shifts; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist licensure with an Iowa license in hand at submission Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult reporting 12 years of experience Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience Fully cleared Iowa criminal and child abuse background checks, along with fully cleared county and state background checks, before starting Additional Information: The role supports patients ranging from adults and geriatric patients to neonatal and pediatric patients, including possible micro-premature infants and hospice patients. Ventilators and bilevel positive airway pressure equipment are utilized. A 10-panel drug screening, including opiates, is required. Monday or Tuesday start dates are accepted, and the position requires the ability to begin within 710 days of offer acceptance.
